WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE AN ICT STUDENT

When i hear the word ICT or the INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY, the very first thing that comes to my mind is computer.
As an ICT student, you should know the history of computer its parts and functions. When your an ICT student, you should know the DOES and DON'TS in computer. You should know what you are doing when you are using the computer so that you will not make any inappropriate actions. You should be responsible enough when using the computer. just use it for important matters then shut it down when your done to dwindle electric bills.
Being an ICT student, you should be role model for those  who are not in using the computer. Don't depend always on the computer.

MY DREAM, MY FUTURE

Graduation day is coming. Soon we will be leaving our high school life. Its time for a new chapter of our life. And it's college.
At this time, graduating students should now know what to take for college. But for me, I'm still having problems with it. I still don't know what to take for college. Sometimes I want to be a chef, sometimes tour guide, other times an office manager, or a fashion designer, and some other times I also want to be a celebrity. What's wrong with me! But as an old man said, "choose whats your heart really desire, choose what will make you happy, and choose which one would you want to do for the rest of your life."
Fulfilling a dream is sometimes hard for a amphibious guy like me. You don't know which to take up first. But all i can do is to work hard and strive hard, cause nothing will happen if you just dream it.

CHANGE: IT STARTS WITH ME

Believing that we can't change encourage us to accept our weaknesses. Countless people with substance problems declare they aren’t capable of quitting. But then it is much easier to continue a harmful behavior when accountability is placed on an outside force like genetics or an “addictive personality”.
When we say people can’t change it is like were saying people can’t learn. I have read that when you learn something new, that knowledge fundamentally changes you. Each information adds to your personal database, creating additional resources to draw on when interacting with the outside world. We face the same temptations to take on negative behavior, but we also build a body of experience that tells us the reward isn’t worth the penalty.
Truth is that individual and organizations can change. People want to do things the way they are accustomed to because that makes life easier. But if you are a leader, you can’t let your people hang on to the past. Leadership is ultimately about changing people’s behavior.

KANNAWIDAN

The Kannawidan Ylocos Festival became an annual festival that aims to create awareness on the preservation of the province' rich cultural heritage, practices and traditions, and a showcase of the different agriculture and industry products
The province of Ilocos Sur has recently celebrated its Kannawidan Ylocos Festival. It year marks the province’s 193rd year based on the Royal Decree dated February 2, 1818 separating Ilocos Sur from Ilocos Norte. Prior to this date, the stretch of Bangui in Ilocos Norte down to Luna La Union is called Ylocos which is a term to refer to the coastal inhabitants. It literally meant “from the lowlands”.
Celebrating the Kannawidan Ylocos Festival is a good way of remembering our history. With this Festival, many people will know the history and whats inside the region of Ilocos sur.

NEW YEAR NEW ME

Good bye 2011, hello 2012. Another year, another hope. Mistakes from the past will never be repeated. Cause I've change, I've change for the better.
There are many things that had happen to me this past year. Happy, sad, exciting, falling in love, horror, and things that shouldn't be done. I admit, I've been a bad guy last year. But now, I just want to be different. I want to be new. I want to be somebody. I want to be someone that my family can be proud of.
I will never be a foul from now on. I'll never do the same mistakes from the past. And i will improve myself until I get better and better, and may be someday, i will be successful.

KEEPING ON MIND OUR MOTHER TONGUE

Your mother tongue is the language that you learn from your parents when you are still a baby.
When we were still babies, our parents taught us many words. When we learned to say the word, we made them happy. When I was younger, the only language i was using is ILOCO. But as I grow, I learned different languages like; English, Tagalog, Japanese, Korean, and a little bit of Mandarin Chinese. Even though I use a lot of languages, I never ever forget how to speak in ILOCO. Cause it's the language of the place i came from.
There's a lot of different languages in the world, but we will always have our own mother tongue in our hearths.

ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

In every Christmas, there's always gifts under the christmas tree for all the members of the family. That's what we used to do during Christmas.
Gifts, most of them will fade into oblivion, lost among the memories of many Christmases. but the love that you've shared will last forever. Love means making time for others, even if you end up with fewer gifts and less than perfect Christmas events. The less you clutter your Christmas season, the more time you'll have for what's really important or what's really matters. And that's the real essence of Christmas.
So forget about material things for Christmas. What's important is that we all love each other. Spread the love, cause that's what god want us to do.
